Step 1. Wash & Prepare Raw Ingredients
Activate the sink to fill it with water. Drag carrots, garlic, spring onions, ginger, and orange to the sink to wash them; they return to their initial spots once washed. Drag the whole chicken to the cutting board and use the knife to chop it; place chopped chicken onto an empty plate at the bottom. Drag an onion to the cutting board, chop with the knife; place on another bottom plate. Drag the washed orange to the cutting board, slice with the knife; place on a bottom plate. Drag washed ginger to the cutting board, mince with the knife; place on a bottom plate. Drag washed garlic to the cutting board, mince with the knife; place on a bottom plate. Drag washed spring onions to the cutting board, chop with the knife; place on a bottom plate. Turn off the sink. Drag the bag of rice to the large empty bowl to fill it with rice. The prepared ingredients on the bottom plates should be (from left to right): Minced Ginger, Minced Garlic, Chopped Spring Onions, Sliced Orange, Chopped Chicken.
Tip: Ensure ingredients are properly washed before processing. Chopped/sliced items are automatically placed onto designated plates at the bottom. Note: Carrots are washed but not used in the rest of this recipe.
Step 2. Boil Eggs and Fry Garlic Garnish
Transition to a new kitchen area. Drag the pitcher of water to the pot to fill it. Drag the two eggs from the nest into the pot of water. Turn on the burner; a timer (1000) will start and count down. Once the heart icon appears, use the slotted spoon to remove the boiled eggs and place them onto the cutting board. Drag each egg individually into a small bowl to peel it, then place the peeled eggs back on the cutting board. Use the knife (appears automatically) to slice each peeled egg into halves. Place the sliced egg halves into an empty bowl. Remove the pot from the burner. Place a frying pan onto the burner. Drag the oil bottle to the frying pan. Drag the bowl of minced garlic (from Step 1 preparations) into the hot oil. Wait for the garlic to turn golden brown. Use the slotted spoon to remove the fried garlic and place it into an empty bowl.
Tip: Wait for the heart icon after boiling eggs. Ensure garlic is fried to a golden brown color for the best flavor and appearance as a garnish.
Step 3. Cook the Arroz Caldo
Transition to another kitchen area. Place the large pot on the burner. Drag the oil bottle to the pot. Turn on the burner (a timer will appear and count down, e.g., 1000). Add the minced ginger (from Step 1) to the pot, followed by the raw minced garlic (from Step 1). Use the spatula to stir. Add the chopped chicken (from Step 1), then the bowl of rice (from Step 1). Add fish sauce from the bottle. Pour water from the pitcher into the pot. Add the two chicken stock cubes. Season with pepper from the shaker, then salt from the shaker. The pot lid will automatically close, and a cooking timer will appear. Wait for the cooking to complete (indicated by a heart icon).
Tip: Add ingredients to the pot in the order shown in the video for correct recipe execution. Wait for the heart icon to ensure the Arroz Caldo is fully cooked.
Step 4. Plate and Garnish the Arroz Caldo
Transition to the final plating area. The cooked Arroz Caldo is in the pot. Drag the ladle to the pot and then to the empty serving bowl to fill it with Arroz Caldo. Garnish the Arroz Caldo by dragging and dropping the following onto the soup in order: the bowl of fried garlic, the bowl of chopped spring onions, two halves of the sliced boiled egg, and one slice of orange. Drag the fish sauce bottle to the small empty dipping dish to fill it. A spoon is automatically placed next to the bowl on the serving tray.
Tip: Arrange the garnishes appealingly on top of the Arroz Caldo. The final presentation includes the soup, spoon, and a side dish of fish sauce.
Tips and Tricks for Cookingdom Level 54
Follow the on-screen prompts and visual cues (like heart icons or timers) meticulously to ensure each step is completed correctly and in sequence.
Ensure all ingredients are dragged to their correct destinations (sink for washing, cutting board for processing, plates/bowls for holding, pots/pans for cooking).
Pay attention to which form of garlic is needed: raw minced garlic for cooking the soup, and fried minced garlic for garnish.
Wait for all cooking/boiling timers to complete before moving to the next action.
Cookingdom Level 54:
Forgetting to wash the initial set of ingredients.
Using the wrong ingredient or an unprocessed ingredient (e.g., adding unchopped chicken to the pot).
Confusing raw minced garlic with fried garlic during cooking or garnishing.
Not waiting for timers to finish, leading to undercooked elements.
Missing a seasoning ingredient (e.g., fish sauce, salt, pepper, stock cubes) while cooking the Arroz Caldo.
Incorrectly ordering or omitting garnishes during plating.
